Conduct Risk & Compliance Advisory Manager [Ireland]


 

What is the opportunity?

The Conduct Risk & Compliance Advisory Manager will be an integral part of the Conduct Risk team supporting the effective oversight and challenge of ambitious strategic change initiatives in collaboration with 2nd line colleagues and wider areas of the business. This is a key role in the Conduct Risk Team!

In this role, you will:

  • Provide compliance advisory, conduct risk and technical support relating to emerging and current regulatory changes, key business projects or other internal changes, and material compliance events and Ad-hoc compliance matters.
  • Challenge and provide oversight on key strategic initiatives and you will challenge proposals that could compromise compliance.
  • Advise on key obligations, regulatory requirements and oversee remediation actions
  • Actively manage compliance risk by ensuring stakeholders are aware of and operate within all applicable regulatory frameworks.

What will make you stand out?

You have previous experience in financial services/insurance compliance with experience in pensions preferable but not essential. You hold an advisory and commercial approach to compliance management. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and report-writing skills. You have a proven ability to withstand challenge and maintain position if necessary along with strong stakeholder influencing and management skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Professional qualification (Legal, ACOI, QFA, RPAor other relevant discipline).
